How to wear a white dress

White is the color of purity and it also associated with surrender. Brides wears white because it symbolizes a virgin. White is a color that’s often worn in summer times when the weather is warmer. What I like about white is that it gives you that fresh summary look. Especially with a nice summer tan you can easily pull off with a white dress.There are a few rules for women wearing a white dress that you should keep in mind.

Rule Nr 1. Wear a off-white color in cooler weather. Instead of wearing the pure white, you can either go for a darker color or if you just love white, wear a more off-white color such as cream or beige.

Rule Nr 2. Make sure to wear underwear with the same color as your skin so that they don’t show underneath your dress. Avoid any colored underwear as well as white. You don’t people’s attention at the wrong place.

Rule Nr 3. Wear matching shoes. Make sure that you wear shoes that complements your white dress so that they don’t take over your outfit. For example you can wear a white dress with a pair of light colored sandals with earth tone. Try to avoid black shoes with a light white summer dress.

Rule Nr 4. Make sure you choose a good quality when you buy the dress. Choose a fabric that isn’t see through or too clingy. Even the flow of the fabric is important, you want the dress to show of your curves in a good way.

Whatever your style is, it’s your choice. But if you are scared of wearing white I suggest that next time you go into a shop, try a few white items. You might actually discover that white is your color! I’ve always been a fan of black, but when I’m trying on a white piece of clothing it lights up my features. If you are a white fashion lover, don’t be scared of changing once in a while. Change is the secret to a perfect closet!
