Fashion designer, Victoria Beckham, gave birth to her first daughter Harper Seven on Sunday, 10th July. The couple had known it was a girl for some time, but when they found out it came as a big surprise. Beckham had told People Magazine in March, “Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon.”
So why did they chose the name Harper Seven? Well, there are some speculations that the name Harper was inspired by Victoria’s love for fashion magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. The baby girl was named Seven after daddy David Beckham’s shirt number, back in the days when he used to play for Manchester United.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri Cruise will finally have some competition for the title as the youngest fashion star in Hollywood. Victoria Beckham has already ordered a pair of custom made Christian Louboutin baby shoes, with the classic red soles.
Victoria Beckham had always dreamed of a daughter, who could give her company while her sons were playing football with David. The couple has already bought a lot of pink and purple baby clothes, including a lot of dresses.
