Her goal was to sell rock and roll clothes to the masses and in order to do that, they had to be fashionable. Through the 1980’s she did just that and is now one of the most famous rock and roll designers around.

Biograhpy
After Sui showed an interest in fashion from a very young age, often cutting out pictures of models from magazines and saving them for inspiration later on, she decided to attend the Parson’s College of Design in NYC. Upon graduation, she began designing clothes out of her apartment and selling them at local shopping centers. With encouragement from her friends, Sui held a fashion show in the early 1990’s and garnered attention from major designers. Following her major success at the fashion show, Sui opened her own store in New York City and brought her clothes to the masses. Her store is notable for its vibrant paint job and out of place black furniture. Sui has always broken the rules and her clothing is no exception. Her rock star lifestyle and clothing have turned heads ever since their debut at the 1991 fashion show.
