Last Thursday 5th November, the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 was held from the O2 World Arena in Berlin. This year was the 16th annual MTV Europe Music Awards and it was the fourth time it was held in Germany, since it was here it launched in 1994, and also to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Katy Perry was hosting the show for the second time in a row and there were performances by artists like Leona Lewis, Beyonce, Tokio Hotel U2 and Jay-Z.
