On Sunday 20th September was the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards and our favorite TV-stars were sparkling on the red carpet in their designer dresses. I really enjoyed seeing some glamour on the red carpet and it almost felt like we were back in summer time with all the colorful dresses. Question is, who was the best and worst dressed for the evening?
Best dressed
Heidi Klum in a beautiful black strapless gown by Marchesa showing off her baby bump. She added the outfit with some bold accessories matching in black.

Mila Kunis in a wine red angel like dress by Monique Lhuillier . She completed the outfit with accessories by Fred Leighton, Ferragamo pumps and a VBH clutch.

Drew Barrymore looked like the princess of the evening in her flawless gown by Monique Lhuillier and clutch by Raven Kauffman. I love the way she added her look with the classic red lips.

The Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively was red hot on the red carpet in a Versace gown with a deep back and front line.

Cat Deeley looks stunning in her creamy Alberta Ferretti gown. I love the way the top part of the dress is wrapped around. Goddess like!

Alyson Hannigan from “How I Met Your Mother” in a black strapless gown by Vera Wang. I love the simple and classic dress, but I’m not sure what she was thinking while doing her hair, it looks like she just added some hairspray and left it. Other than that she looks gourgous!

Debra Messing look glowing in a colorful red-orange one shoulder dress by Michael Kors. She looks simple and classy with her hair pulled back on one side.

Chloe Sevigny in a beautiful white with black polka dot one shoulder gown by Isaac Mizrahi. I really love this dress because it’s not the typical red carpet dress and Chloe always goes for her own unique style.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was wearing a light yellow glowing gown by Max Azria. She looks so stunning in her floaty dress and I like the fact that the dress so simple, not to say the least about her angel like hair.

The “Hero” actress Hayden Panettiere added a lot of color to the red carpet in her red J. Mendel dress and Judith Lieber clutch.

Worst dressed
Leighton Meester is wearing a white Bottega Veneta dress with puffy shoulders. Her dress has received mixed opinions, and I have to say her looks is too much of everything. The big hair looking like she came straight out of bed together with the big shoulders and red lips gives a look of mess.

Christina Applegate in a blue dress by Basil Soda. The dress with the lace in the middle looks more like a curtain than a dress, sorry Christina.

Betsy Brandt in a black dress with fluffy layers at the bottom and a shiny black belt. It’s just not working for Betsy because it’s attracting all the attention to fluffy part of her dress instead of her face.

The “Grey’s Anatomy actress” Chandra Wilson in a black strapless gown with white details at the bottom. Her dress reminds me too much of a curtain and the cups looks too oversized.

Ginnifer Goodwin in a purple Yves Saint Laurent dress. I love the color of the dress but the v-cut top part of the dress seems like it’s out of place.
