I saw this picture of Cate Blanchett, from the red carpet of the exhibition Screen Worlds: The Story of Film, Television and Digital Culture in Melbourne, wearing a one shoulder crochet patchwork dress, and my first thought was that she looks like one big grandmother blanket. I’ve seen a lot of red carpet fashion mistakes, but this one takes the price. I think Cate always look beautiful on the red carpet and she often wears unique pieces that represent her personal style, but this time she didn’t really hit it off. It’s something that I would rather cover myself with in a cold and rainy evening at home. But at least she got all the attention for the evening, and maybe a new nickname, Cate Blanket?
