The famous Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have started on a new career, in the bling market. They are designing jewelry, with a collection of gold and silver jewelry with Asprey. The collection is called “The Protector” and the jewelry has the snake inspired look. Angelina had reportedly said that she considers the reptile a protector of her family. The idea and design came from Brad and Angie and they started working on it over a year ago. The collection will hit stores this week in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Dubai and Tokyo, according to Asprey.
The collection includes necklaces, bracelets and rings and the price starts from $525 and all proceeds will go to Angelina’s charity “Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, founded in 2006.
According to Yahoo News the couple doesn’t want to comment in the collection but they released a statement about their charity. “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place — to just be children,” Angelina said in a statement. “Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”
